ABOUT THE ARTIST
Artist Keegan Nadon, 25 yo, Born and raised in Ottawa with a huge passion for art, skateboarding, And cars. My creative journey started with spray paint and branched out into dot art such as mandala art and my own style of stacking the paint on each other after each layer drys.
Over the passed few months I’ve ventured out into the world of yarn, handmaking rugs using a rug-gun. The image gets projected onto a canvas where I punch the yarn through, followed by, glueing the back portion which strengthens and fortifies the overall piece. Following glueing, I then trim down the yarn using clippers and cut out all details to emphasize the intricate lines. The creation of one rug can take anywhere from a whole day to several days to complete, depending on size and details. I intend on making rugs for people and clients to show off their personalities in a unique way while demonstrating my abilities.
